Breakfast: 1 ½ cup tomato juice, 1 large handful spinach, two stalks celery, ¼ cucumber. I added extra juice so that I knew it would be thin. It made more than my normal amount, but I drank all of it!

Lunch: Company day – I made fried chicken and waffles, but also mixed up a large batch of smoothie for the company to try. Two bananas, 1 cup cranberry juice, heaping handful of spinach, ½ cup blue berries, three large strawberries – I drank a full glass and there was plenty to go around. Even the visiting kids enjoyed the refreshing smoothie.

Snack: I set out the sauce from yesterday as a dip. I chose to eat it with celery scoops (a celery stalk cut into about 1 inch pieces). I also had a few olives to go along with the snacks.

Dinner: I finished off the veggie dip with some more celery and green olives. I also finished off what was left of the smoothie.

It was a crazy day with kids in, out and around. Another home school family stops by once a week – usually for lunch. They have their own bunch of boys so the kids spend most of their time and energy outside. The adults laugh and share and just connect with other adults. If you are around next Tuesday and want to come by just give us a shout. We have a great time and there is always something good (or at least interesting) to eat.
